I grabbed FIRST!!!

The Blue Moon Brewing Company in San Antonio, Texas, held an art duel on June 7th. This was the first round of 5 before the finale in November. Blue Moon San Antonio was the theme for this event. We were given a 3 hour time frame and started with a blank canvas. Out of a group of 26 talented artist, I took first! Great event, great times, great fun!

In the beginning.....

This is me

I created drawings and paintings.  Now the paintings hung around my house, filling every open surface of the vast emptiness.  I thought, I want to share my work with the world.  And so it began..... with FaceBook (Dezda Gallery).

But not everyone has a FaceBook I was told.  Really?  Why not?  What was I to do?  Non-FaceBook users wanted to see my work. So I began feverishly (or not) working on my own personal website (www.dezda.com).

But not everyone searches "Dezda" I was told.  Really?  Why not?  LOL! What was I to do?  Who are these non-FaceBook users that aren't searching for me? Have they lost their minds?!?  You need a blog I was told.  So here I sit and here I type.

And thus began my blog.
